Other way around...Hill and Collins were teammates against Hilliard.

Thanks for the correction. Hill stole the show in that game and also during his LSU career.

That's huge! Awesome. I think it's a good move for him as well.

Remember watching good ol' RHS on ESPN with those two future studs puttin' a whuppin' on Hilliard and Patterson. With a lot of pride I did, and I'm glad 2 of those 3 stayed.

No, I just see him as needing more time in the position. He's not there yet. But I see him need more work, another year and a better coach could make him a top draft choice. He's rough now, that's why I saw him starting at OG, if he came out early for the NFL. Remember, Whitworth started early in the NFL at OG. Now he is one of the top OT in the NFL. La'el needs to work on a few things to refine his game, like I said new coach and more work, he's endless. Remember, he could end up playing OG or RT in the NFL, LT has to be a great player protecting that blind side.

Outstanding first post and you are 100 % correct.

We got lucky on this one. We needed him to stay after Turner announced he was leaving.

I kept playing this song all day long:

Yes indeed , I was bummed because I thought we were going to get hill too but we all know the game is won and lost upfront on both sides of the ball this is huge for our success on offense next season. Very happy he decided to stay I'm really looking forward to next year I think we will surprise alot of people.

Aren't the top tier tackles in the NFL better compensated than the top tier guards?
