    The thing is...La'el never scheduled a visit to AU. The AU staff was just pushing for one just like USC was.

    You DO realize we're gonna go ahead and take BHelm's word over yours, right? Here's what La'el DID say, and I have no doubt about it. He said AUs sleazeball staff was calling him on phones with 225 area codes...not 205, not 251, but 225...Baton Rouge. Is that when he told the coaches he was gonna come visit AU?

    FWIW, he IS gonna come visit AU...but it's gonna be a couple of years. He'll be the big sucka pancaking your DL.

    Ummm ... you do realize that in today's telephony environment, i can use a 225 area code from virtually anywhere in the USA, right? Where I work, I have more than a dozen numbers that are each intended to provide a virtual "local presence" regardless of my actual location at the time of the call .... including the outbound caller ID digits .... all programmable. I can be in the caymans and appear like i'm communicating from my office in alpharetta. Gawd, I love this new technology :D

    If I didn't want someone to know it was me, because they probably wouldn't answer if they did, I'd probably do that too. But I'm not a sleazeball. Especially if the team he's currently committed to AND recruiting for, and in fact, 'all in' for...has a 225 area code.

    Come on man...quit taking up for NissanAU. You had sense enough to admit La'el was a long shot at best for AU. He's right there with Jeffery Lee, who very predictably crawfished on his 75%, insinuating something changed suddenly. La'el was never going to be an AU Tiger, and it was VERY obvious. This is nothing like Trovon Reed to AU. Yeah, we had some denial, but then again, Trovon wasn't committed to LSU, and wasn't recruiting for LSU, and obviously didn't bleed P&G. Everything La'el has ever done or said since 2009 when he committed to LSU has been ALL LSU.
