Shea says he is all LSU too. AU mods tend to lean everything their way, so wouldn't surprise me...

This is my first post on here but.....Jeffery Lee took that from someone that said they talked to Collins on FB. It wasn't even a direct interview of Collins, and who knows if that AU rivals poster is even telling the truth.

    So take it fwiw...

Auburn's on the outside looking in on this one, fellas. True, there's an effort to secure him for a visit, but who wouldn't be trying to do that.

The one thing that Auburn can offer for certain is early PT.

So can LSU. There's a huge gaping hole at LT and has been since Ciron's Junior year.

Exactly move Chris Faulk to RT and put Collins at LT. bam problem solved

    dudley oops!

Judging from the Arkansas game Chris Faulk is not ready (now if ever). Hurst is pretty good at RT, so leave him there. Is a true freshman ready for that LT spot? I doubt it. OL is really a problem.

Forgot about hurst. and faulk is just young give him time.

A lot of true freshmen play in the SEC on the o line. Oher did it at first, came in at guard. Ja'waun James from Tennessee this year. Xavier Nixon and Barrett Jones last year. It's like putting a true freshmen at QB. He's going to take some lumps, but if he's ready, he's ready.

We did it twice at LT with Andrew Whitworth and Ciron Black. Sure was nice to have only 2 guys play the position for 8 years. I think La'el could be the next.

Edit - They were both redshirt freshmen...whoops.

Not worried about the kid in the slightest. Wasn't he one of our very first commits? Baton Rouge born and bred, has been a Tiger lock for damn near two years now.

I don't blame the Aubies for trying, but this kid is LSU all the way. Can't wait to see him man that left tackle spot.
