Crazy, I've been to that theater often back in the day. Rumors of guy shooting his ex wife. Another that a personal trainer from Red's may be one of the critical and not looking good.
first of all I hope no one on here had family in that theater. Thoughts and prayers to the families that did. 58 year old white male, took the lives of 2 others and himself, coward. He was from Alabama too. No one knows why yet. What a fucking dick.
He ended up killing himself, but the evidence (car parked next to an exit, wigs and glasses he didn't need found in his apartment) points to him planning to escape, and probably would have had it not been for two cops who happened to be on the property when the shooting started. They're guessing he tried to walk out with the crowd, saw the cops, then went back into the theatre and killed himself.
Maybe a word or two missing here......the shooter had a criminal record -- arrests for arson and selling alcohol to minors -- but no arrests in the last 25 years.
