ladies lose 60-52, just could not get shots to fall towards the end. Gonna miss hightower next year....
Disappointing coaching job by Van Chancellor this year. This team had the makings for getting back into the elite or at least the tier just below the elite and could not win any close games this year (0-8 in single digit games). This win could have made up for some of that, but it was more the same, nobody seemed to be able to step up and take the leadership role. That was the problem the entire season.
Even when Pokey was here it always seemed that the ladies were destined to forever play second fiddle to Tennessee. Just can't ever seem to get those one or two crucial breaks to go their way when it matters. I have to wonder how much longer Van plans on staying. I like him and I really want him to succeed here, but no doubt this year was a disappointment.
