Another quick call from uncle in law. Few points in no particular order.

- AD is out of town and been out of town for a while. All this went down without anyone in AD office getting a sniff except some rumblings last week about Ogre. AD is probably in serious trouble now.

- Supposedly Mr. Haslem (big time tenn booster) is burning up the Presidents/AD's telephones and raising hell about why Kiffin was allowed to have presser in Tenn. AD and Prez in serious trouble

- Frat boys throwing trash at the athletic complex during presser. Rumors of frat boys gathering for a raid on Kiffin's house, Ogre's house and Monte's house. That would be gold!

- Kiffin had already packed his office sometime today. Trucks and assistants moving stuff out as we spoke. All the coaches leaving are supposed to depart Knoxville ASAP.

- Players raising hell in athletic complex. Some damage done and campus cops brought in to settle them down.

- Phones ringing off the hook by the Fulmer crowd wanting HIM back!

- Huge crowd still assembled outside of athletic complex but much quieter than before. They even have an effigy of Kiffin burning as we spoke. LOL

Whew....he had to go. Thats it for now. What a riot.

Worst Possible Hire USC Could Make. Lane Kiffin was an embarrassment to Tennessee and will continue to be an embarrassment at USC. He is everything that is wrong with college football, he is as slimy as Slick Rick in Westwood. I'm ashamed that MG or whoever made this hire did this to this prestigious school and football program....Im in disbelief

Worst possible hire for this team. ... Kiffen is not the right fit for this team. Does anyone remember all the talk of how the players hated him while he was at SC before. For a classy university, like USC is, Kiffen is not the type of image we want representing the university.

I'm a long time SC fan and all I can say, is that this hire is not a good one.

This hire reeks. It really does. Kiffin is a f***ing idiot and we all know that, PC got him the job.

Lane Kiffin is as dirty as they come in terms of a coach, have fun doing what UT fans did all year defending Lane as he talks smack to other coaches all season and points out false violations on opposing coaches. He put UT in such deep water in just 1 year, now hes stepping into a program facing sanctions and hes going to take us to the dark ages despite the talent level. Welcome to NCAA probation. ... I am in disbelief at how the school chose to f*** itself in the ass getting the dirtiest coach in college football to a program with looming NCAA sanctions.

Lane Kiffin is an idiot. Its hard to support someone you know is full of so much sh*t and you know hes a slimeball and lets everybody know he is. Im already getting texts from my friends laughing at this hire.

This hire is absolutely pathetic. Mike Garrett did this to screw USC and the next AD. Hiring a coach who has a NCAA bullseye on his back to coach a USC program that has a NCAA bullseye on its back with looming sanctions due to Bush, while Kiffin was an assistant here. The NCAA is going to send this program straight to hell for this move

He didnt mention that Ogre was or wasnt in Knoxville. Just that those leaving where leaving with their families ASAP. I hope the frat guys get there with rotten eggs and $hit bags before they leave town. :hihi:
