Lane Kiffin new USC head coach

I can see how hiring Lane gets you Monte... but what's the connection with Chow? Wouldn't it have been better to hire Chow as your HC? I guess it's because Chow is 63 years old. As for Monte, he is 69.

 

So here is a question. If Ogre was in LA and calling recruits before he was announced as a member of the USC staff, IS that a recruiting violation? Or some form of conflict of interest?

 

Wow. Only just over 1 min long? When he is done, he looks up, gets asked by a reporter: "Hey Lane, out of respect for the Tennessee fans, can you answer just three questions for us?" And he walks off without responding. Couldn't make out what they were saying to him after that.

or

violation by Tennessee for their coach recruiting for USC?

 

i think it is funny that the story in college football is not Alabama's national title, its USC's dirty program, and their new coach.

Well you have a Tenn official (Ogre) in LA, calling Tenn enrollees and telling them not to go to class and come to USC. All the while he knew he was going to on the USC staff. There are reports he was calling 8 Tenn incoming freshman (classes start tomorrow) and telling them not to go to class.

That is pretty F'ing shady.
