daddy must be getting senile or not care that his son is a complete douche. to be used like that and move back and forth across the country. has he enabled little kitten like this all his life? daddy may be a good defensive coach, but i really have no respect for him any more. :rolleye33:
Good riddance to both of them. Both make my skin crawl. It would have been fun to watch UT implode while Lame was there. Guess we'll just have to watch it happen at USC instead.
He is getting these jobs because of 2 people. Mainly Monte Kiffin and secondarily, Jimmy Sexton. Simple as that. On his own Kiffin would not have been hired by Tennessee or USC. He is a coat tail rider of the tallest order and he has the biggest shill in his corner via Sexton.
Jimmy Sexton is really something, isn't he? Among other things, he's a slimeball. But something in all this occurs to me. How big would our meltdown have been if Les Miles had walked into his impromtu presser a hour before the '07 SECCG to announce he was dumping LSU to go to Michigan? This is kinda similar, except with NSD looming.
I will always remember Miles as the one who chose LSU. When momma came a callin, he stayed home with his new family.
I agree with this. Just wondering what the list of splash hires would be. Honestly, I don't think Muschamp quite reaches that bar of "splash hire" yet.
Damnit. this new pt place keeps the tv on old people tv. ellen degeneres instead of espn like the last place.cowherd was slurpin this morning i almost gagged. "not the first choice but a great choice. fight on!" im pretty sure he'd blow kitten if he could. urp!
Seeing what Tennessee is going through makes me appreciate Miles that much more. He may have his shortcomings and come off like a doofus but Miles has something that is lacking in many college coaches today, integrity. That virtue is worth millions my friends.
That is what everyone believes or thinks, but I think Phils record since 2000 didn't really warrant getting rid of him. He maynot have won the SECC game, but he had them in it, which is pretty impressive. Letting him go for the reasons they did, which I know are deeper than just the W/L record, in retrospect may not have been their smartest move. The direction UT's program will be headed in now may take them a decade to recover from. My point is, a fan base that is unhappy because of a couple of down years maybe shouldn't be listened to by the administration so much. Granted ticket sales had dropped substantially, but that might prove to be nothing compared to where they could be headed now. 2001SEC EastLLSU20312003SEC EastNADid Not PlayXX2004SEC EastLAuburn28382007SEC EastLLSU1421
