My brother's wife is a Penn State grad and she dosen't know either but she knows nothing at all about sports. I gave her some LSU SECCG T shirts for Christmas and I have yet to see her wearing a single one of them.

i went there the last time LSU played (2001). it is because they are sitting people on top of each other..you have no room to really sit comfortably. I was so mad that in the fourth qtr I got up and watched the game at the concession stand.

It should be noted that neither the Rose Bowl or the Coliseum are actual college football stadiums, not to mention that USC actually has huge jerseys that take up around 20,000 seats.

I found this while searching around. Pretty interesting. I don't know how old this is, though.

This just shows that there are distinct differences between the SEC and the PAC 10, win or lose.

The following teams get tremendous fan support even during a down year. While most are competitive year in and year out, it’s hardly a prerequisite. Witness the presence of Kentucky, Virginia, Colorado, Ole Miss, NC St, Iowa St, Vanderbilt and Oregon St. Add the 7 SEC teams from this list to the 5 above and you’ll notice that every SEC team averaged at least 93% of stadium capacity in 2000. Incredible!

Poor attendance. The first inclination is to point to a dreadful record like that of a Rutgers, Baylor, Duke or Temple. It’s totally understandable if you refuse to sit through a Kansas/Baylor tilt on a dreary November day. But how in the world do you explain the inability of UCLA, USC, Stanford or Miami to crack 80% last year. Each has a rich tradition, exciting players and damn good weather! The Hurricanes might be the most confusing of all. This school was on the brink of a national title all year long and still had trouble filling the Orange Bowl. Predictably, 6 of the 10 PAC-10 teams landed on this dubious list.

Thanks for posting this list, because in all honesty . . . this is the only list that matters in college football. I can't begin to tell you guys the difference between an on campus stadium and one that is off campus. Let's just say it is a completely different experience. Nothing like walking to Tiger Stadium from your dorm or apt with a group of friends.
