Compare to Patrick Peterson's contract: a fully guaranteed four-year, $19.5 million contract plus a $11.9 million signing bonus...for a total of $31.4 million over four years...$7.85 million a year

And compare to Morris Claiborne's contract:

A fully guaranteed four-year $16.26 million contract plus a $10.3 million signing bonus for a total of $26.56 million... $6.64 million a year

And compare to Ryan Clark's contract he signed in March 2010:
a four-year, $14 million contract ($5 million guaranteed), plus a $3 million signing bonus for a total of $17 million...$4.2 million a year

Another $3 million is available through incentives.

I know he's getting up there, but give me LaRon over any of them!

And that's not a slight to PP7 or Mo...I just have a particular affinity for the style of play that LaRon brings. Has anybody at LSU ever hit harder?

Patrick Peterson named LSU DBU. I'd take him over any LSU DB, with Mo Claiborne a close second.

as a colts and a tiger fan i am absolutely stoked about this signing!

I know one thing I would take LaRon Landry over Eric Reid.

While it's true that PP7 came up with the name, The Webster/Daniels/Landry/Zenon/Prude/Gay group started the tradition. Would PP7 have even come here if they hadn't laid the groundwork? IDK.

And I think Webster was a better CB than PP7, if I'm being honest.
