cbs has first pick that week and i don't think there's any way they pass on LSU-Bama.

Bama does not want Gameday because they always loose when they host Gameday.

I don't think he slipped he just didn't get a full jump on the ball. He was running in one direction and the ball was thrown in the opposite very high, so Chevis wasn't able get back across high enough. No DB would have. Regardless, that's not the single play that hurt us. It's easy to forget about the 75 yards given up before that play on that drive...
Chevis was lights out last night, made great reads and his only mistake was biting on the pump fake which I don't blame him for, great Auburn execution on that play.

I thought he had a small slip too. Not bad, but enough that he could not recover with a perfect pass.....:geauxtige

He didn't slip on his jump. It was the step before which took away from having a good jump up to defend the pass.

can't disagree more. Next year's team will drop off a little because of the huge hit we are taking on D. However, the Offense will get nothing but better. And then the '09 season!!! WOW. That might be a better team than we are watching this year!! And of course, we will have the better schedule again.

Jai Eugene will be a really good CB. When he went in against kentucky, he wasn't even stretched. It was also a little extreme of a situation when he was sent into the game.
I don't think we will see too extreme of a drop off next year at CB.
