Yes, was a great play. The slow mo shows he led with his head on the hit. That would be a definite flag in the NFL. Not sure how college perceives this. Had the crowd roaring if I recall.
The really great thing is that the whole season was full of shots like that.. I'm looking forward to seeing him play in the pros... the next Lott I'd say..
Looked like he hit him in the chest with his helmet and the momentum snapped his head back. Would that still be a penalty? or is it only helmet to helmet hits.

Let's just hope it's not on what woulda been a game ending play and give them a first down and put them in FG range......minimally, another play. His intimidation didn't come from illegal hits anyway......he laid the wood on 'em regualarly. He did make me nervous, more than once, with his posturing after the hits though. You should use your head.........sometimes. :hihi:
Yes, but i would like to think that our coaches don't tell our players to go out and hit like that. It could be very dangerous.
