Oh, I gotcha. Well, I trust IGN because they have been the athority for as long as there has been an internet, pretty much. They regularly post interviews with game devolpers and lead designers, so their info is always straight from the horses mouth. If something is a rumor, they say so.

No, if you get it for xbox you can't play against guys with PS2, only other xbox folks. Personally, I would get the PS2 version. My brother has an xbox and I have a PS2, we both have 2004 and the graphics are a little better on the xbox but the game runs more smoothly on the PS2, plus more people have a PS2, so it's probably more fun online.

In my opinion the xbox is better. I think the graphics are crisper and the load times are definitely faster (especially the simulations). I have spent many hours playing NCAA on both systems and I would have to say XBox is by far the better system.
