Lautenberg wins in NJ according to WB11 in New York

    Looks like the GOP has drilled their first dry hole. Remember when they were salivating over Torticelli's problems. Didn't matter -- Lautenberg took the old GOP to the woodshed. Hopefully, the first of a lot of DEM good news.

    Texas looks bad, BUT Arkansas looks good

    and Zogby had Strickland with a 10 point lead just 3 days ago. Also, Carnahan is doing better than expected in Missouri so far (actually leads). Also, New Hampshire is too close to call.

    Dems ran into a very popular President with strong coattails

    What a difference 8 years makes! This sure wasn't 1994 all over again, when a weak, unpopular President took his entire party down the crapper. Of course, this is unprecedented for a first-term President in a mid-term election. Then again, a President with 65% approval ratings in the middle of a first-term is historic. Just goes to show when you do your homework, when you work hard, when you reward people who play by the rules, when you fight for working people, you are justly rewarded.
