Lavalais getting blasted by coach Mora

    the issue circling around falcon's camp is that Lavalais and a couple of other players "take plays off."

    CL is locked in a battle with Shropshire who has impressed the coaches. I've been watching this battle unfold because AU's Tommy Jackson is a backup at the same position. One coach stated that Lavalais reported in better shape as a rookie than he did this season .... a definite no-no in the NFL.

    Plenty of college teams start DTs who are in the 280 lb range, and both Spears and Hill were over 280 - Hill in the 290s. Of the DTs on our current roster, only the incoming frosh are listed above 290. Now, if by "heavy" you mean out of shape doughboys, no, they weren't that. But those guys were big DEs and that is one reason we were hell against the run. Just look at our current DEs, only Tyson Jackson is above the 265 range.
