Rivals ranks Davis as their #27 ILB in the nation (LSU commit Minter is their #17 ILB, LSU commit Barrow is their #22 ILB). That's higher than Oklahoma commits Bird and Jones (#31 ILB and #36 ILB) and higher than Tennessee commits Mitchell-Thornton and Shackleford (#40 ILB and #53 ILB)

Scout ranks Davis as their #9 MLB (LSU commit Minter is their #4 MLB). That's higher than Oklahoma commits Bird, Maloney, and Jones (#11 MLB, #12 MLB, #32 MLB), ND commit Calabrese (#13 MLB), Ohio State commits Whiting and Boren (#15 MLB, #46 MLB), Tennessee commit Mitchell-Thornton (#27 MLB), and Auburn commit Harris Gaston (#29 MLB).

FWIW, the Scout National Board mods think he should be listed as a RB.

:geaux: Sounds like the kid can play some LB. Would think LSU might want to take a hard look at him IF they have room. :LSU231:

Bob Sanders is listed at like 5'9 but is probably a little shorter; he went to Iowa and is the x-factor on the Colts' defense..so it isn't unheard of. It's rare but it isn't impossible.

That's the closest thing to it. Still 2 inches shorter than that.

Nah, cus at 5'7" and 206 he would look a lot bigger than he does.

    I am willing to be he is 5'8" 1/4, maybe 5'8" 1/2.

With all this talk about his height, weight and speed, I can't help but imagine him like a human bowling ball going after the offense that looks like a bunch of pins!:hihi:

No disrespect; but I have a feeling he's going to be a good one, compensating for his short comings with his other assets.
