Lets face it boys this is not the first team that responded better with another QB. I am sure its already been said but the 2000 team was much better with Rohan than with Josh Booty.
Some players respond better to different leaders. I just cant buy that everyone played better today as the only reason. We have been saying all
season "pity the team we play when this team puts it all together".
Well looks like that final piece may have just been the leadership, poise and ability of Matt Flynn.
I'm sure he'll have bad games. All good QB's do, but I really feel good about the future with this guy. Hope he takes the job for good next year.

Flynn is getting too much credit for this offense's performance.

The main thing was all the time off the team got. Not only did it allow alot of players to get healthy, but it was the first break for 11 weeks which meant a lot to their mental health.

Flynn did as well as he possibly could have & exceeded all expectations. For that, I applaud him but him being on the field was not the main reason for the offenses sudden production.

I agree with this. The offensive line was not only better than they have been all year...they were dominant. Addai played awesome. Those guys deserve at least as much credit...in my opinion a little more.

Don't get me wrong, Flynn played very well. It's great to know that he's capable of leading this team. He's obviously a SEC caliber QB. He stepped up when he was needed and brought us to a huge win.

    Keep being short-sited. :dis:

You don't think a healthy Oline & running game affected the offense at all?

Yes, rest was probably a HUGE factor.

Playing for that many consecutive weeks is a BIG DEAL.

I'm not sure I understand. So are you now saying that the rest did make a difference?

    What momentum?
