(ex-saint) possibly the biggest FA pickup this offseason --torn patella tendon on very first play of camp. out for year. poor browns. at least winslow the souljah is back

titans sign Vince Young to six-year, $25.7 mill in guaranteed money. lendale also signed so that will be interesting to see these 2 who last played against each other in the NC game play together.

any word on reggie bush? hopefully he shows.

? is he assuming he rushes for 15,000 yards this year, then retire?

    don't they have a 5 year wait period? :)

I sure hope Joe has a great year... I just wonder about his ability to last a whole year... especially on that turf up there

    colts minicamp
Rookie Addai makes good 1st impression
Team likes what it sees as running back from LSU practices with his new offense

Joseph Addai's official debut with the Indianapolis Colts earned much better reviews than expected summer movie blockbuster "The Da Vinci Code."

"He did great," coach Tony Dungy said Friday evening after putting Addai, the Colts' first-round draft pick, and the rest of the team through the first of five mandatory minicamp workouts. "Probably will be in the Hall of Fame in six years."
Dungy was kidding, of course. All joking aside, the rookie from LSU was one of the lightning rods as nearly three dozen members of the local and national media descended on the Colts' Union Federal Football Center. Most gravitated to Addai when he appeared in the locker room.
That he was in such demand wasn't a surprise. After all, Friday marked the first time Addai shared the locker room with the entire team.
And let's not forget he was brought in to help veteran Dominic Rhodes fill the void created when Edgerrin James, the team's career rushing leader, signed with the Arizona Cardinals in March.
Addai did his best to defuse the loaded "Can you replace Edge?" questions.
"There's going to be good competition," he said. "Everybody wants to be that person. With me, it's not really about being the No. 1 guy. In college we had a rotation thing going on, and it worked out pretty good.
"I don't look at it like, 'OK, that's the No. 1 guy.' It's just really getting out there and producing. It's really just being ourselves.''
That is all the Colts are asking of Addai, and Rhodes for that matter: Be yourself.
"Everybody that comes in here, that's the message to them," Dungy said. "You come in and do what you do. It's our job to take advantage of what you do well and tailor things that way."
Although there will be a transition, there isn't likely to be any schematic change in coordinator Tom Moore's offense. The Colts will continue to feature a one-back set. The only difference is that the one back might be Rhodes one play, Addai another.
"Whoever is going to be the starting tailback this season, whether it's by committee or one guy, that guy is going to have a good year, I can promise you that," quarterback Peyton Manning said. "But everyone else needs to raise their level of play, as well, when you lose a player like Edgerrin James."
Manning and Addai shared the same backfield for the first time Friday afternoon. But the introductory process began the previous evening when Manning invited Addai, the other running backs and tight ends over to his house for dinner.
"Seems like a great kid," Manning said.

Herm Edwards: " Brodie I can get you a multimillion multiple year deal. But if you continue to insist that your signing with the team is conditioned upon our drafting LaRon Landry, son the best we can do is $15,000.00 a year. Its your decision"

Brodie: "$15,000.00 buys alot of vienna sausage in Alabama coach. Money is good but functioning kidneys is better."
