Yeah, that was ridiculous. I almost have a hard time believing it was real, but I guess it was. I remember in 03 he was giving LSU some props when his other ESPN guys weren't being nearly as cool. I loved it when he picked us over UGA on gameday that year. I've written off many of the stupid things he's said simply b/c everyone in the national sports media says stupid crap. But that clip was just scary. Why was he talking about Burt Reynolds naked anyway?
Why does this guy talk like he's one of the Soprano's? How does HE think he's some sort of tough guy??? What a clown.
Ok with all the stupid antics on the ESPN College Gameday show he spits out, you're gonna tell me he has the nerve to say he doesn't like being the butt of a joke. That is his entire M.O., don't you think? Corse = Horses Ass, basically, on the show
I remember when that superimposed pic of Corso came out. If I remember correctly, it was in a National Lampoon parody of SI and Corso was still coaching at Indiana. At the time it came out, I beleive everyone, including him, thought it was pretty funny. I guess time and circumstances have a way of changing perception. But as someone else said, with his antics on Gameday, I think he is being a bit hypocritical.
That's the first thing I thought of too..pretty hypocritcal. He sits there and makes a fool out of himeself on Gameday, but then when someone made a friendly joke about him, he flips out...
Didn't he bash Steve Spurrier (not bash but make fun of) for going to South Carolina on one of his last TV Gamedays appearences? Get a clue, Lee.
