Gus is the real deal which I tried telling most knuckleheads from the getgo. Gonna be scary when he gets his own players. I forgot about kiffin. I suppose this was an overreaction hire due to malzahn offense. I suppose he can infect any program. Even bamas. Not looking forward to any offense under miles much less an inexperienced one. And I'm guessing his love for aj is going to be as blind and loyal as it was for George Jefferson.
Yep gus with his own guys. I still like our chances with Chief defending. Last year against barn, we had 21 points on them before they were off the bus. That was one game Cam took his foot off the gas, we could have hung 50 on them that game. Kind of like with J Football and a&m this past year, LSU was to get blown out. bama is gonna be one to keep an eye on with kiffin, they had a very good OC before kiffin.
Ok Tirk, just for you.........a long but informative read on Chief and his defense against the spread...... http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/5/15/5709380/lsu-defense-john-chavis-spread-offenses
In '87 they should have beaten Ohio State. With the game tied and LSU with the ball inside the Buckeye 10 yard line with time running out Hodson threw an interception that sealed the deadlock. If he had just spiked the ball or taken a knee in the best field position the odds are that David Browndyke would have made the kick. That was probably Archer's first really bad play call

Not a disgrace at all, but some of us have much higher standards of excellence for the L.S.U. football program than others. Yall "Satisfied" with those 2-3 loses every year with no S.E.C. West or outright S.E.C. Championships? I'm not nor are any of my fellow L.S.U. Alums that I hang with. My main point about "Revolt" was dealing with the QB situation. Tiger Stadium is gonna turn ugly if QB play regresses in Conference play. Many are fearing we'll look like Florida did last year on offense.
10-3 just means you get to sit closer to the winners. I'm sorry I'm younger and have higher expectations.
