LSU will not lose 4 games in the West. This will not happen nor will we fire Les Miles at the end of this year. His buyout is too big and he recruits too well. He is the LSU coach barring a complete meltdown....so chill out and hope like hell the youth on the team comes around in time for the big boys later in the year. It is much more likely that LSU gells at some point during the season and ends up in Atlanta than the wheels coming off and sacking the overpaid coaching staff. (Regarding pay of the coaches, they are all overpaid in my opinion....)
Once Masoli starts playing (and we'll face him), Ole Miss is going to improve pretty dramatically. He has huge play potential everytime he touches the ball.
the truth is, when you are counting on position coaches or undersized players "that are fast" to get you to the next level...you are more like texas tech, not texas. bama, osu, texas, etc. can win championships with jefferson. then again, they actually have some form of an identity on offense and defense.
But LSU is doomed to stagnate in mediocrity with no hope for improvement. I hope Masoli plays defense too because 49 points to a 1 AA school indicates problems on that side of the ball.
LSUs offense has an identity... it's the 3 and out. Hence why no defense respects us anymore. Stack the box and hang your secondary out to wait... LSU is shut down... and we punt. Our talent pool has kept Miles' record pretty respectable... but soon the lack of coaching will be too much for our talent to even out and it aint going to pretty... then you'll see these top 5 and 10 recruiting classes getting worse and worse.
