Not really our problem last night. Am I correct, or did we not punt much? Our problem was handling the ball and untimely penalties that killed drives.

i've never said Washington was great. Ever.
i said Washington was not as bad last year as they were the previous season. Turns out, I was right.
Sorry that reality hurts you so much.

and if you had been paying attention, I'm not saying UNC is great.
I'm saying their backups aren't chopped liver like the prevailing thought on this board seems to be.
I have complained openly about what we saw out of LSU last night.
I am not happy with the product we put out last night, nor was i happy with the last two years.

With that said, losing at home to a 1aa school is a phucking disgrace. It's a goddamn embarrassment. Anyone who thinks that is the equivalent to our struggles last night, is only looking to make things appear worse than they are, or are sugar coating how sh!tty Ole Miss looked yesterday.

You will never convince me, nor anyone else who pays attention to football that those two opponents are any where close to being the same level of competition.

Really it takes a football "guru" to figure out Washington would be a tad bit better WITH their starting QB in '09 then without him like the '08 season prior... but with his sir studliness... they managed 5 measley wins last season. They still sucked and almost beat us. Yeah bro you're too smart for your own good. Carry on.

Another thing no one wants to talk about is how many starters from out team were out...four.

Combine that with the fact that we played so many true freshmen...redshirt freshmen...first time starters who are sophomores and I don't think anyone can say that the mighty NC champs were playing North Carolina's JV

It's more like our JV was playing their JV.

We had 6 punts. I was surprised to see in our 15 possessions, we only had 3 true 3 & outs. I would have thought it was more.

I understand what you're saying here i'm just tired of season after season with more question marks then answers, no progression in the areas that seriously matter like game management, turnovers and stupid game killing penalties... and everyone just seems to blow excuses around like it doesn't matter, like one day it'll all get fixed... until then we'll just live with what we have.

3 scores in 15 possessions is 20%, not what I call an effective OC.

smart enough to know that UNCs backups are better than those on a 1aa team.

i wrongfully assumed that was common knowledge, but you have proven otherwise.

The amassed many yards on us, but they didn't almost beat us. It wasn't close; we beat them by 2 touchdowns.

First time I recall computing or seeing the stat. Have nothing to compare it against.
