I've said the same about preseason rankings too but with almost happened last year with the Big Least, I've since taken a more neutral postion. Find it works both ways, start out ranked high and one slip can cost you but start out 5 or 6........go undefeated but never jump another undefeated team who (Of course, arguably) had an easier schedule/conference and never see the NC game. "We" was LSU/USC but I'll race you to the mailbox. :hihi:
Yep. How many others started out 1 and 2 and made it to the NC game though? 3 times in 14 years. http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/commentary.html
I'm sensing a groundswell of support. :hihi: I expect the full tailgate experience........including the Tiger Bait taunt.
We were talking about the computer poll which isn't out but, though you're right, as far as Rivals' preseason poll, check these: :thumb: http://cfn.scout.com/2/609740.html http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/6376944 http://www.collegefootballpoll.com/preseason_comparison.html
Okay, okay, enough of the polls! Make your pick. Should I be changing my plane/hotel reservations? And if so, for what city? Maybe January will be a dose of unconventional wisdom.
I think we have too much talent for LSU to handle, I dont see how they're any different then Auburn or Arkansas
The team picked to win it has been in it 50% of the time so your chances, according to the odds, are good- I wouldn't cancel any res. yet, cides, even if it's LSU and no USC, you know the food you'll be treated to at Hurricane and others' tailgates will be worth the money.......not to mention the company.
Please keep believing that too...nothing I'd like betta than for the whole team to be thinking that. That's what most Pac10 fans were saying about tOSU and UF last year too. FIGHT ON brutha!
