Disturbing the Peace​

Louisiana Revised Statutes 14: 103A (2002)
A. Disturbing the peace is the doing of any of the following in such manner as would foreseeably disturb
or alarm the public:
(1) Engaging in a fistic encounter; or
(2) Addressing any offensive, derisive, or annoying words to any other person who is lawfully in
any street, or other public place; or call him by any offensive or derisive name, or make any noise
or exclamation in his presence and hearing with the intent to deride, offend, or annoy him, or to
prevent him from pursuing his lawful business, occupation, or duty; or
(3) Appearing in an intoxicated condition; or
(4) Engaging in any act in a violent and tumultuous manner by any
(5) Holding of an unlawful assembly; or
(6) Interruption of any lawful assembly of people.​

I couldn't find anything more recent but I'm pretty sure most of these still hold true.

 

i see there you can't cuss at a cop, but nothing about cussing at a QB.

edit: I know nothing about laws and such, so I may well be wrong here. I am not taking any hard stance either way.

I know I don't do any of the above mentioned things.

 

Please understand I'm not saying that this law should be enforced but I was pointing out that it is in fact against Louisiana law.

LOL...I'm not saying this applies to the Florida game at all. I surely would not want to open that kind of can o' worms. I was merely responding to his post that cursing isn't against the law. I'm not even about to interpret the statute...:lol:
