I do appreciate your response though even though I did not mention you specifically by name, I guess you knew when I said morons that meant you?
Ummmm. 2003 was Saban. Not Miles. Please do not cry over your ponder. A drunk monkey could have coached this team with the talent we have had. Miles can not even look at the clock. Oh, but he can call a timeout...........when we have none to call. Maybe you can gather a little wax off his ear for your collection.
If a drunk monkey can coach this team maybe you should apply, then again, I've talked to drunk monkeys who have shown more perspective than you have in this thread.
If we held everyone to the same standards that some of these fans hold Miles too, no one would have a job except their man crush Saban. I'm wondering if these people slap it to ESPN the magazine's Saban foldout of him yelling.
Reminds me, that wright thompson fella who wrote that big piece on les and his family last year and the one on les loving flour de lis pizza has been embedded with the team the last couple of weeks. He's doing another thing on les I believe and it's supposed to be out this week if I recall. Wonder what angle this one will be. Its either going to be in ESPN the rag or their site I believe.
I said the exact same thing after the game. I may have ended up feeling just a bit different had a blowout actually occurred.
Initially, losing the way we did hurt worse than the 21-0 beatdown in January, but as the days pass, I can be proud of the way we played Saturday night. The same cannot be said of that abomination in the Superdome. So, losing still sucks, but I'm happy that we were right there, rather than nowhere close.
How many championship's will Les Miles cost us? I know of three good years that our teams were good enough to win the BCS championship but lost out because of bad game management and poor decisions. It is a shame that he is just good enough to luck up and win a majority of the games but never the one that counts.
