I agree... As much as I hated Spurrier when he was at Florida, you could see it in him. Yeah, he was cocky, yeah he was a jerk, but his players played thier hearts out for him..
Y'all need to quit believing the hype. Before the season most would have said we would lose to Auburn and Florida...2 losses that I picked back then too. The media kind of jump on the LSU bandwagon because it is still a story of how this team would continue from last years crazyness. For them to say this team was a top contender was a hopeful streatch. Not that I didn't feel like it could be accomplished but there was alot of if's before the season started. The running game isn't there and we have now learned that special teams leaves alot to be desired. Our QB can't lead a reciever to save his life on most occasions requiring acrobats from Barnum and Bailey's to line up at wide-out. It bit us in the ass today. Add that to Florida making some really incredible plays and sticking to solid field play and you get what we had today. I still think a decent season is salvageable. Two loses isn't the end of the world and i look for us to win out...but it is a let down knowing we have better talent than what showed on the field today.
Ahh bull$hit man. THIS LSU team has a crap load of talent that we aren't using to its max. We have some major problems that we need to fix. The coaching staff needs to get their head out of their ass and start coaching some damn football... About Miles not getting in players' faces... does that make him a "pussy"?
Really? Against who? We play at Tenn and we play Ark who destroyed AU who, in turn, beat us earlier this year. I think it's possible, but only if Les actually coaches... and so far he's done a poor job...
Well said....Coramp... Reading a number of posts I think: Cynicism-- or is it pessimism?- is often little more than disappointed idealism. Most did expected a couple of losses in SEC road games before the season started. So let's recall pre-season hopes. Let's be realistic. Although the special teams seemed to have smoked some Baton Rouge green, and the passing game didn't look as good as last week....and the running has not looked good since Scott against Tulane...although...although... One must be realistic in expectations. If there are more than 4 losses this year..yes, I expect even I may be questioning the coaching regime...but not til then...It was the players who sucked today! ATR Sacramento, California Geaux Tigers!
most of y'all just need to calm down, u are all posting within an hour of the game with your emotions still running high. i am just as mad at the loss but calling the coach stupid and stuff like that just shows your maturity (or lack thereof). it is an even year so you know its gonna be a tough year, we lost 4 regular season games in 2000, 4 in 02, and 2 in 04. We lost on the road to two top 5 teams in hostile environments. show me a nick saban coached team that did or would have done better. this "les miles has to go" stuff after every loss is getting old. it took saban 4 years to get a national champion. Les is only in his second year, it is still too early. and for those of you who are saying Les is successful because of Saban's talent. It's saban's "talent" that cost us the game (dropped balls by the receivers, doucet's fumble/safety, etc.)
BS. Miles has more talent on this team than ANY of Saban's teams. Why he and Jimbo refuse to utilize this offense to its full potential is disgraceful.
I am so damned pissed I can't se straight Fire this sorry ass coaching staff now. All this talent and they get the frickn shat beat out of them. Its almost like the game plan was to just f--- up every way possible. PS Bench that sorry excuse of a QB they have. All he frickn has is a cannon arm and absolutely nothing beteen the ears. All this other frickn talent is just wasted on his dumb Frickn Ass.:angryfire :angryfire :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :angryfire :angryfire
