You or anyone who prob cant get 1 18-22 year old to do anything the team played all the way till the end. Not picking on anyone tirk just some people only know how to critize when we lose a game after pumping them up. But you still never answered the question. I believe we will still beat bama. Part of coaching college is recruiting no matter how good a person can coach if they can't recruit they don't win. I still believe Les can do both no matter how ugly that loss was. We (LSU yes I like to include ME in that ) loss a lot of good players to other programs in the 90's because of archer hallman and dinardo ( even tho dinardo was a decent recruiter.)
I wouldn't look at 94 (still Hallman era), but Dinardo came to LSU in '95 and started recruiting studs.

Saban had 5 seasons with 20 nfl draftees that's an average of 4 per year. So ther is no way you can tell me miles has not had more talent to work with at lsu than saban did!
I read your original point to be that Saban had a bare cupboard when he got here and even during his tenure. That's not really true. But, yes, Miles arguably has better players, but he's had a hand in that, correct?
Oh no I never meant to insinuate that, what I meant was that saban got more out of the talent he had here than miles did. And that saban is the one that got this program back to elite status again and miles has benefited from that and has kept it going, but I do think that saban would have had more than one national title had he had the same timeframe and players that miles has had.
how can you assume that There is no guarantee that Nick the dick would've even got the players les has or even if he would have got the calls he gets now. do you really believe that if he was still at LSU that the refs would have given PP his interception....... too many variables of how a seasons goes to assume that. Other than that why even play just call him jesus and hand him all the crystal.
