If he does, offer Petrino, then Del Rio, then Rodriguez, then Riley, then Nolan, then Chow. If they all turn us down, promote Jimbo. Save the $1M buyout of Miles' contract. All we can do is look to the future and hope things work themselves out. If everything is truly about money, then Skip and the rest will do whatever it takes to keep us winning. Dude, you are an idiot! I know for a 100% fact that Weems and Emmert were responsible for the Saban hire. Saban also talked to Weems all the time and they are personal friends, why do you think that Weems was at Saban's house all last week and Bertman was not. I do not like this hire any more than you do, but you are starting rumors that you have no idea about. Get a clue!
You're an idiot This is a horrible hire and several members on the BOS hated Saban because he wouldn't play their little games. He kicked boosters out of office several times his first year, wouldn't hang out with BOS members at functions. Bertman was not in control of this hire.... And when Saban was hired, Emeritt and Joe Dean were at the meeting.....the BOS were completely shut out until the hire was made. Not this time. They wanted a patsy who they hope wins games and that's what they got.....a patsy. Maybe he'll do fine and win games but Miles was not chosen because he was the best coach available.
