At least Petey stuck around for awhile instead of tucking tail and running. Then Petrino pulled a Saban, making the count in the SEC West.

saban would have been beaten down if he had remained at that place. he lost all respect as an NFL coach on a player-level and upper-management level.

thats why everyone should have known he would likely be at bama forever.

its a good fit for his ego, wallet and psychosis.

So miles having a better record than Saban means what?

Saban going 6-6 his first year and getting blown out by Utah means what?

Urban goin 9-4 in 2007 means what?

I swear, the crap some of you come up with.

Who cares? I can play that game too. It took 6 overtimes to beat us. We were undefeated in regulation.

You think any other team would care who they played in that game to win a championship? How can they possibly control that?

Your point is not only irrelevant, it's ridiculous.

There is not one area of Saturday's game or the Florida game that you can point to as a clear example of Miles being "outcoached" by Saban or Meyer, respectively. In fact, considering that LSU - in both cases - was playing teams that were ranked well ahed of them (both officially and in the polls of public opinion) and still could have won either game is a stronger argument that Les Miles "outcoached" both Saban and Meyer.

if anything it was chavis who was outcoached.

he stopped blitzing as soon as bama completed a TD pass and then had no answer for the run. bama's O made adjustments, we didn't.

It took Missouri & WVU losing? How about us winning the SEC and beating 7 top 20 teams during the regular season?

OSU didn't belong there? Then who did? VT? Well we had beat them down already, worse then OSU. Georgia? They couldn't make it to the SEC title game.

By the end of the season we beat 8 top 20 teams, is that your definition of a good but not great coach?
