You gotta have thicker skin than that. Just get used to people calling you stupid or other names when they don't agree with you. This board is filled with know it alls, you just have to brush it off and keep going. But don't throw in the towel man, that's weak.
Yeah. It's always hard to say what the right decision was. Even if someone is good for a few years, what if they leave and are replaced by an incompetent person? Or what if they win a national title and everything falls apart in two years like that happened at Auburn? It will be hard to say how that compares to what Les would have done. I just see more potential downside than upside. I remember the 1990s too well. There are a lot of coaches out there that we could hire who won't win 75-80% of their games like we've grown used to.
Sorry you feel that way. Here is the deal, it's a pretty tight knit group. We have our battle lines drawn but in the end 1 big happy family, except for tap. He is the one that wears the helmet to family functions and any other time he is out in public. Look, I'm 46, lots of others much older than I am, sorry @HalloweenRun had to pick somebody. Point is, don't be so easily offended. Lots of younguns here and well, there isn't really any way to know who you are talking to, like someone posted earlier a vast majority are now little yellow cartoon bastards and I for one have NO idea how in the hell that happened. Stick around, put your big girl panties on and have some fun.
While very true, the exact opposite can happen and with the talent LSU brings in, we could light the CFB world on fire with the right competent hire. Things like this can not be done in haste.
If you look at the talent that has come through baton Rouge and now resides on an NFL roster and it doesn't leave you scratching your head...
