I think it's more because Bama IS the second best team. Regardless of whether we feel they deserve another chance or whether they won a conference championship, etc. they're still the 2nd best team in the Nation. At least that's how I see it.
No one ever answered a question I asked in another thread. Why doesn't Gundy have a vote in the coaches poll? How is it even remotely fair for Saban to get a vote, but Gundy not get a vote? How is it determined which coaches vote in the coaches poll?
I was not aware of that. It seems they need to amend it to state that for the final poll the coaches with teams in the previous Top 20 be allowed to.
