I go by Winnning & Program Management & Recruiting. To this point, Meyer & Miles are winning more games, and have better rankings in the polls & recruiting. Both have made tremendous hires as well.

    1) Meyers
    2) Miles
    3) Richt
    4) Spurrier
    5) Tubberville
    6) Saban
    7) Fulmer

You cannot put Richt below Miles because he has won the head-to-head matchup, in a huge conference championship game no less.

    That's actually pretty funny!

Of course, if Nutt took over at USC, then we'd lose a 5**** QB and a highly regarded receiver the same day he announced.

    In fact, and on balance:

    1) We'd rather have Mustain and Williams and
    2) Pete's not going anywhere. If he were, there are a number of guys who'd be far in front of Nutt.

IMO, there's a short list of SEC coaches who could probably get the job done and who might be welcome, but there's no sense in even speculating.

As far as Miles goes, '07 is the year for him to get it done without LS's ghost haunting him along the way. I think he will, and his critics will finally be shut up. The SEC - West Division crown is a must, the SECC will be frosting on the cake and a win in NOLA BCS NC would catapult him into the highest rung of national prominence and bury Saban in Louisianna hearts and minds FOREVER! Here's to '07!

I don't know how fair it is to include Saban since he has not coached a college game since 2004. Give him a couple of years and see where he stands.

You cannot ignore his 22-4 record. He did the coaching.

You seem to be giving Meyer his 22-4 wins using Ron Zook talent. By the way, Miles players Williams, Scott, Lafell, Holliday & Colt David accounted for 14 TDs & 158 points of the 438 scored.

The only Miles player from 2005 is Ryan Perriloux. He was hired a month before signing day.

So you think Rich Brooks is a better coach than Richt?

Yes you can. Miles hasn't lost to West Virginia (who we all thought to be an inferior team), in a bowl game practically at HOME, he hasn't lost to Vandy AT HOME, he hasn't gotten beaten by 20 pts by a conference foe AT HOME, and he hasn't dropped a game to Kentucky of all schools. Hell, Richt lost to Vandy and Kentucky in the same year!!! That automatically drops you down a rung or two on the coaching ladder.

What does that have to do with Miles Freshman & Sophmore scoring a good number of TDs & points? Miles signed: Brandon LaFell, R.J. Jackson, Ricky Jean-Francois & Ryan Perrilloux after he arrived. Plus he saved Ciron Black for LSU, who was very close to signing with a Big 12 school & did extend Trindon Holliday's greyshirt.
