Completely agree. Those were Saban's recruits.

Not sure why people give a ****. They are LSU's players...

Completely agree huh? Was Nick Saban oat LSU on Jan 31st 2005, or did he resign Christmas?

Why do people care? Probably because they a sick of hearing about Saban. He has not coached LSU players in almost 3 years.

Were all of those recruits contacted by CLM and did they set up visits with Miles? Recruiting starts years before signing day, not just weeks or months.

BS. Our fans are the ones that keep talking about him. Did not see Saban in the title of this thread.

I know when recruiting starts. Saban was not recruiting RJF. You know about Perrilloux, Miles had contact with LaFell & Jackson from Okie St.

Are they all really LSU fans? I don't know. The 1st poster doesn't even have Miles listed. The poster from Gulf Shores, Alabama has Miles at #8..which doesn't exactly fit a coach who finishes in the Top 5 yearly.

CLM is the best coach in the league.

All of the other coaches are terrible.

    Yeah, so, I'm a homer?

Wrong. LaFell, RJ Jackson, and Ricky Jean were all his. LSU was not the favorite for any of these players before Miles became coach.

Also, Ciron Black decommited after Saban left, and recommited once Miles was hired because Miles had been recruiting him at Oklahoma St and he really liked him.

I can't recall specifically for any of the other players, but I think they were all still pretty solid commits after Saban left, so Miles doesn't get full credit with them, but he is still the one that signed them.

The best way for me to compare Miles vs the rest of the SEC is to think about it terms of how other coaches would've done as LSU's coach the past 2 years.

I don't think that there is any coach in the SEC who could've done much better than Miles the past 2 seasons. No other coach would've gone undefeated either of the past 2 years. Maybe they could've had one less loss, but may not have gotten one of Miles' wins.

Well, only one way to settle this. Celebrity boxing.

I think Les could whoop most of them. Richt looks like he could scrap. Fat Phil would get owned. Spurrier would get in some sucker punches. Too many funny pictures of Nutt looking like he was getting punched in the stomach to take him seriously...
