OU fans blanketed the TR board with tons of remarks about Miles news conferences and statments, saying he was maybe a good coach but was basically an idiot in his dealings with the press. This was referred to the most as an obvious example of him saying things he should not have said. I liked it myself, sounds like a great guy who loves big games.
isnt the west side expansion supposed to add an a$sload of new seats? maybe thats what he meant? about the clip, thats more emotion in those few seconds than i saw from saban in 5 years...
actually it won't add many at all. Maybe a couple hundred. It is being done to upgrade the pressbox, lux. boxes, it to put it inline with the east upper so expansion is possible in the future.
I wouldn't care if he communicated with the media via sign language, as long as he wins games. If he can instill just half of that enthusiasm in our team, we will be fun to watch. He has just the tools (players) he needs to plug into his aggressive style of offense here at LSU. We may just see an offensive explosion every Saturday. :thumb:
Emotion is fine. Saban showed PLENTY of emotion on the sidelines dealing with officials and players. I just hope that Miles can match the victories and integrity of the program Saban had in 5 years and at least keep us in Atlanta.
