1. First mistake... Around the internet you will find such gems as

  2. True but some of 'em are bigga and take up mo room.
  3. That's why I speculated with a "maybe."

Call me crazy, but I think some people would actually rank the teams based on how well they play on the field.
  4. Water off a duck's back..... I just ignore these types of articles. Bottom line is this guy's opinion is as insignificant as an MSU cowbell. It doesn't change the season for us one bit. Hell Lou Holtz has been doing this type of criticism on us for years now. And that jackwad that used to be on ESPN.. Trev whatshisname... He STILL swears that Georgia was the better team in 2003.

Anyway what will be, will be. When you're at the top of the pile, there's always just that many more people that are shaking their fist at you.. while looking up of course. He's just looking for reasons to down LSU and no matter how stellar of a performance they would have put on he still would have felt the same.

Just for kicks though... watch when USC plays that powerhouse Idaho tomorrow. This guy will be ready to say they are the best all-time college team ever, and that the NCAA should just banish the sport at the college level because USC is as good as it will ever get...
  5. Yeah. What a great position to be in.
Let's face it. It's impossible to rate our team before next week. Nothing will be held back at that point. Offense, defense, special teams...they'll all have to step it up. If they play to potential, they will.
It's true Henig played like a schoolboy, especially in the second half. Unless I'm mistaken, the beating he took from our defense was instrumental in that. Opposing quarterbacks should be hearing those same footsteps the rest of the year.
  6. This press will only keep the team motivated to prove everyone wrong. I like that a lot better than everyone telling us how great we are.

  7. Not crazy, maybe just too emotional to look at the big picture. You're right some people actually rank teams based on how well they play on the field. Which team playing this week has the ability to leapfrog LSU? Or are you saying that a team not playing is a possibility to jump a team that won 45-0? Not going to happen. You people are making too big of a deal about a bunch of talking heads saying that LSU is not in mid season form yet.
  8. I wanted to get a good negative view of how LSU was doing so I went over to the Bama Board and read the MSU/LSU game thread. It was almost a play by play thread that fired constant negative comments at our team. What was funny, after about a hundred posts a poster wrote something similar to, I'm so embarrassed that we lost to MSU last year at home to a team that LSU has destroyed the past two years. I was so happy one Bama fan was not delusional about what they were watching. It's funny how some folks will take a 45 to 0 blow out and pick it apart. Our defense has started strong and our new offense will catch up quickly. Sure is nice to have a great program that garners so much attention.
