I think that the time off helps us a lot more than Duke. Thomas could use a few days to rest that ankle and the team in general needs to rest because of our lack of depth. For physical reasons alone, I am glad we are playing them Thursday instead of yesterday. Plus the LSU team could use a few days to re-charge emotionally after the past few days. I really think that this schedule plays into LSU's favor. Though I would have rather been in ANY of the other brackets instead of having to meet Duke at this point. :nope: This is going to be TOUGH.
Dont get me wrong, the rest is gonna help us more than Duke. But I am not worried about the rest. I am not bashing Brady here by any means, BUT for any of us to think that Brady is a better coach than Coach K is really off base. This is a game that we may get out coached. I would have rathered played Duke yesterday or on Saturday. Give him only one day to prepare and that means that it is up to the players, and not the coaches.
