Right, because the rest of your offense was SO potent.
Let's keep it in this decade.

As was yours...Dont be so ****ing cocky it took OT for LSU to beat Bama. Oh yeah you're the same people who predicted 40-3 and talked about how LSU would roll over them. Didn't happen. We're rebuilding still, have a very weak Oline, 1 senior on offense, and you still barely squeaked by us. Think about that for a minute. Wont be long before it will be like the 70's again....When LSU was Bama's bitch.

A little oversenstive today, Gump? Yeah, it took OT, against a great defense, with our soon-to-be backup QB :)D ), and during the best year Bama will have for a very long time. What's your point? We still beat your ass on national TV, as we have for the past 3 years. Still sore?
Did I make that prediction? Didn't think so. Take this drivel elsewhere.
Well then, I guess by your logic, Arkansas will be a real force in the SECW next year, huh?
Haha! Yeah, won't be long, since Bama's been raking in those top 10 recruiting classes for the past few years. Oh no wait, that was us. You know how Bama fans are like maggots, right? They can both feed off of a dead bear for 30 years. Let it go, dude...the seventies ain't coming back!

I think I'll give credit where it's due. Bama has a heck of a coach and if you guys had Prothro, we very easily could have been toast. However, ever since that game, I noticed the Tide's back was broken and never could get it together since (don't know how ya'll did in your Bowl Game).

BTW, as a USM fan, I went to that game with "the Catch". I was in the end zone guest section too!

Ford is the RB that played with Keiland at the military academy, right?

Don't you EVER, EVER try to compare your puny RB's to our thoroughbred horses. Just who in the hell do you think you are anyway boy? You better worry more about 8 guys that have the potential to start on one of the Nations BEST teams in the land. Don't forget that this is a LSU running back controversy thread not an Alabama two possible starters at RB thread.

Darby is ok he did put up some nice yards last year BUT how will he do w/out that QB what’s his name. Not that what’s his name was any good but he did come into the game very overrated and unfortunately LSU bought that hype and focused more on him then Darby.

Now if Darby called 200 yards like that fella from Auburn did against LSU then you would have something to brag about. Despite LSU busting up AUBURN he had a great game. Good luck w/Darby bubba you gonna need it.
