I'd be a walk on at a community college or a trade school before I'd even entertain the lies of a military recruiter.

Once again...The US Coast Guard is forgotten about! LOL! I have 28 years in the USCG, in Aviation and proud of my accomplishments and lives saved...Currently a W3 soon to make W4 and would not change my decission to join for anything. Currently stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. With that said...for the sake of your choices...the only other choice on this...Stealth Pilot.

I have never lied to a single recruit. If I have to lie to get you here then your reasons for service are ones that are selfish and will get others killed because of your lack of concern for anything outside yourself. I will not put anyone in boots that I feel lacks the character to fill them. Your broad statement lacks the insight for grasping what actually happens in a recruiting center. And how what we say holds devastating consequences when we speak with a forked tongue.

Army, I have every bit of faith what you say is honest to you. Let me give my personal experience though. Not sure if your office uses Lexmark printers, but all the Army recruiting offices in Arkansas use them. I was a contractor for Lexmark for 3 years (ended 4.5 years ago). I was in the recruiting offices a lot, and got to hear a lot of the stuff being said. I also got to see the army recruiters getting very close and suggesting intimate things with young female recruits.

It's not all clean in the recruiting, not by far.
