    I am ok with cloning I just don't think they should be doing it just to do it. Cloning plants (which is what I assuming you meant) cloning body parts, that all sounds like a good idea to me. But cloning all these animals just so you can stick em in a cage in a lab or so you can use them as production lines. That just seems inhumane to me.

    As the technology improved would the price stay at $100K or more or would it drop like electronics. The first plasma TVIpever saw was about 15 years ago and cost $12,000. Now plasma is obsolete and you can get a TV the same size with a better picture for $500-$700

    I too am against cloning people,etc. I took a bio-medical ethics class in college and it muddied the water for me philosophically. Lots of reasons to clone....or not

    Cloning is the most extreme form of inbreeding.

    I think the application has merits when it comes to reproducing organs and body parts. Just think, instead of waiting for donors we can just grow a liver, heart, lung, etc. for transplants.
