How about ALL major sports NCAA championships?

Sure, add UT and OU to the SEC West, and UM and FSU to SEC East.

    That's 16 even for a megaconference.

I don't think you could get a more powerful conference, it would OWN the South and Southeast in all three major sports.

Plus we do have rivalries with both UT and OU.

I would hope that we don't have to expand, but if we did, this would be great.

listening to rivals radio today and they were saying that texas would opt for the pac 10 rather than the sec due to the academic standards in the sec.

I don't think that UF would allow UM or FSU to join the SEC. They would fight it tooth and nail. Now I could see UT, OU, and Okie St coming aboard. If we jumped to a 16 team conference adding UT and OU there wouldn't be any other conference out there that could touch us on the field or in the $$$$ generating world.

Yep, Texas doesn't want any part of the SEC.

I'm glad they found academic reasons to run and hide behind.

Because the SEC would flat-out waste 'em on the field and court.

also, rivals said the legislature in texas would make sure that ut and a&m would be a package, that wherever one went the other would as well. i believe the wvu, clemson, fsu, miami is more credible.
