  2. yes gxlsu1 it will be on your tellivizion on espn.
  3. HAHA, thanks man, give me a break I'm only 13, and never have had to spell that word.
  4. LSU B-ball....it's FAN-tastic...

Let's hope Brady can get all the class acts on the team enough PT...I wouldn't want anyone of those stellar representatives of the Ole War Skule to quit the team because of a "lack of playing time"...

I have a lot of respect for the players on that team...I'm just wondering...

Did anyone make sure to buy Jamie some soft foam padding to soften the blows he delivers to his opponents? Also, could we please put a plastic mouthpiece in his mouth...He is too much of a class act on the court to not have his teeth protected when another "class act" lights him up like he's Mike Tyson in Japan in 1990...
  5. Hi, folks! Utah fan here.

Honestly, I dont really know much about this year's LSU team, so some of you will have to fill me in on what we'll be facing. I expect this to be a very tough game as going to Baton Rouge and getting a W isn't an easy task. So if someone would give me a little background info, I'd appreciate it.

    Later.

    GO UTES!!
  6. john brady to the nfl.
  7. We don't have a very good team snicker. You will not have a hard time. Now all joking aside this is one of the better teams talent-wise since Stromile Swift and Jabari Smith. Only problem is the depth. A few guys who were upset about bench riding left the team leaving the bench kind of iffy. But Brady is good with utilizing what he has since he was dealt limited scholorships when he took over. As far as playing in Baton Rouge we don't call it the Deaf Dome for nothing.
  8. Thanks for the info.

As for us, we've had some good games thus far this season and some real duds. If you saw our two games at New York in the Preseason NIT, (against Texas Tech and UConn) you'd know why. Over the past several seasons, we have struggled in the non conference portion of our schedule, so I'm not going to expect anything too outstanding, like, say a W.

I'll also be interested to see how the Tigers play and defend against our latest phenom/sensation/manchild Andrew Bogut. For a freshmen, he rebounds extremely well and he's a great presence in the middle. (He does give up the baseline quite a bit though).

By the way, if you all do hoops like you do football, it'll be tough for us.

    Good luck and GO UTES!!
  9. MOre on the team

Here's a little more insight on our team.

We have two very good big men in Brandon Bass and Jaime Llordea. Bass is 6'8" and Llordea is 6'9". When these guys get the ball in the low post, they are extremely hard to stop.

Llordea is a senior and came to LSU as a juco-all american. Bass is a freshman and was a McDonald's All-American in high school.

We have a some very talented but small guards. Darrell Mitchell, Jr. and Tack Minor are 5'11". Mitchell can hit the three from any angle and Minor is super quick. Mitchell is a sophomore and Minor is a freshman.

Antonio Hudson is the best pure shooter on the team. He is a 6'4" wing player and is a junior from Grambling, La. When he has a good game,,LSU tends to win!

We have another wing player in Regis Konjia, a 6'9" 215lb. freshman. Regis will be amazing in the open court when he gets comfortable playing the college game.

Our starting point guard is Xavier Whipple. Whipple is not flashy, but has improved his 3-point shooting. He is 6'2" and is a junior.

Others to come off the bench are Charlie Thompson, a 6'0" guard; and Ross Nelter, a 6'8" freshman who was Mr. Basketball in Kentucky last year.

    Starting five looks like this
    PG - Xavier Whipple, 6'2" 6.5 ppg.
    SG - Antonio Hudson, 6'4" 13.3 ppg.
    SF - Regis Konjia - 6'9" 7.3 ppg.
    PF - Brandon Bass - 6'8" 12.3 ppg.
    C - Jaime Lloreda - 6'9" 26.3 ppg.
First of the bench - Darrell Mitchell, Jr. and Tack Minor.
