I work in big pharma. I have 4 aunts and uncles that are doctors plus my dad. Of the 21 grand kids 1 nurse and me are the closest thing to the medical field. Lots of lawyers in my generation. Telling?

There is so much wrong with the system it's crazy, and single payer isn't a magical bullet. I have no clue what will be best. But I know eventually I'll go bankrupt from medical cost or die. Single payer is trying to solve just 1 part of the entire problem, who really knows? My aunt gave up delivering babies because insurance shot up to like a million dollars a year for her liability insurance. There was only 1 insurance company in the state and 1 pulled out, Florida...she had a huge practice, went into plastic surgery after.

Hospitals are crazy, 37 thousand dollars my insurance was charged for a 15 minute knee scope last year.

I am more worried about the media and modern day fascist, on both sides.

It isn't perfect, but some of the things it did were needed. And TBH it could of been better if we worked together on it, if both parties actually compromised and worked together to come up with good solutions.

But we are in this viscous cycle of winning by making the other team lose, we are all in the same fucking boat. It's insane, as we drown together you can say fuck the liberals. We are still drowning and are going to die together, but man you won real good.

For sure this happens for Trump, happened for Obama too and its so much worse now with modern media. I always knew this and thought its the other side's problem, but then I was reading up on a story about Homeland security, my sister worked for Homeland at the time so I asked her about it. Well one she didn't work in that area so she didn't know much, but she did know some of what they were talking about and said most of it was blown out of portion. Now huge parts of that whole fiasco were issues and true, but the one specific thing I asked her about wasn't. Shit gets blown out of proportion to rile us up to get us to vote their way plan and simple.

Now taking that and blowing it up to saying Trump never did anything wrong or bad, that is just swinging way for the other directions and probably wrong. I know none of us know the truth, how could we. So most of us base our beliefs on how we feel about something, which is pretty idiotic on our parts.

I have no idea on how to consume news on politics now without getting some sort of bias. I am sort of just going back to fuck it of my 20s, and trying to not read much on anything political. I will vote democrat next election because fuck Trump, maybe that means the media got me, but who the fucks knows. I just don't like the man, period. I know I would of voted for Romney had he ran against Clinton, not Ted Cruz fuck that lizard.

the chasm is wide but it can be dealt with in degrees: build the wall and make it economically attractive to Mexico, Guatemala et al to maintain their border integrity and support US border policies.

exchange that for granting citizenship to DACA recipients and a robust worker program that allows for work without citizenship while contributing more to the economy through taxation participation in the legal workforce. Throw in a pathway to citizenship for the millions already established in the US and we’d be squared away.

Yup, agree with all that but building a Wall? Building a wall is just silly in my eyes. It does nothing but cost someone money, probably american citizens. Does absolutely nothing for immigration control...if you say deploy drones, I say that's pretty scary thing. Government Military drones over our skies...

I got a fence, concrete poured the entire length of the fence. My dogs and the neighbors dogs still get through 7 years running. They go around, they go under, the go over, they go fucking through... And they are dogs... It's a money pit for the government so a private company can tap into our tax dollars, I guarantee it!

Are you fucking kidding me? When? What fucking network ever launched a campaign against barry the likes of what we are seeing now? I'll give you to the end of time and you still won't have an answer

If your point here is things get blown out of proportion then yes, that happens. If not I have no idea what you are talking about.

No one has said Trump hasn't done anything wrong, he is a very wealthy man in his 70's so of course he has pissed a few people off along the way, maybe even grabbed a few women by the pussy, maybe something worse. To date there isn't any evidence of it and certainly nothing to the level of criminal activity.

Which is called education. We base our beliefs off of what we know to be right and just based on our level of education and experience. That is not "idiotic" that is what I am hoping secures the longevity of our democratic republic. I mean what in the hell are we supposed to base things on, what the fucking news tells us to? Read a book or two man.

I would suggest spending some time researching voting records (they are public) as well as using multiple sources to verify information

Then you truly hate America and everything we stand for because every single one of the democrat candidates are 100% out of their god damned minds. I have no idea how old you are and don't really care. If you don't like Trump fine, I don't care, don't vote for him. To vote for one of those assholes because you don't like him is to quote well, you, is Idiotic.

You had me up until the end and then I figured out that you just aren't very smart or you smoke a LOT of dope.

Fox news and benghazi? I wouldn't know because I stopped watching fox news in 2004. I have never watched CNN or really any cable or TV news with any consistency. I find it sensational and dramatized, no thanks. I am a avid reader of news though, but I am currently trimming those sources too and cutting back on how much I read. Just sort of tired of politics and the whole who is winning thing, I think we are all losing. I worry about the issues I see in front of me, I research the candidates I am going to vote for and make the best choice for me and my family. Shit man its not great, my daughter struggles to even pay her student dept as a teacher, I am going to have to pick up the slack. My little brother is having a had time finding work after graduating college, probably going to join the Air Force. Times are tough for kids starting out, medical cost are crazy, can't seem to trust any news.

I guess don't do shady criminal shit and investigations don't get started on you on the daily. There is literally to many to keep up with. But it's totally a conspiracy, sure. I don't care in the end, I will just vote against him and hope the next guy is better. And if he wins again, whatever. I will not like it, but we will live.

You are totally misunderstanding what I am saying, I just don't trust most news sources now and feel its very hard for anyone to truly get the truth from anywhere without bias. I read literally hundreds of sources on things, and that could be a problem. I over research and further my biases. I try to read a book here and there especially on the final two candidates in the presidential race. I just don't do TV news hardly, maybe on something big like benghazi or bin laden getting jacked in the back of the head.

Hey man, I really respected you, but I don't appreciate your tone or want or need your judgments. You don't know me or why I do anything. And this is why I don't come here often, who wants to talk to someone like the way you are talking to me now just because we are talking about politics What gives you the right, literally you can hide behind free speech and call someone a snowflake, but fuck off with that shit. I come here to have a good time. It's totally fine you have your point of view about things, be civil about it. Don't try and say what I believe or how I feel about this country.

I fucking served, every generation of my family has served since the revolutionary war. I have 3 siblings on active duty, 1 brother and 1 cousin in Iraq and my Sister ships out soon. Don't you fucking ever try to imagine how I feel about this country, because I would give up my life for it. I have family actively putting their life on the line for us.

I can vote for whomever I want for whatever reasons I want, and I love this country. I don't get where you come off talking to someone like that because of who they will vote for and why.. Why does politics make people so fucking uncivil? Did I offend you because I will not vote for Trump that bad? I have listened to trump for something like 5 years now, I formed my fuck Trump attitude over time and has only gotten stronger. Sure, I admit some of it could be media bias, I read a bunch of news. I was out almost before it began so it had little affect on me. A self admitted sexual assaulter, ooops it was locker room talk. Not the guy i want in the oval office, period ever hard stop. Who says shit like that and isn't an actual predator. Nah man I was out right then permanently. Respect it or don't whatever, Trump won anyway and probably will again.

    Peace and Geaux Tigers

Benghazi? Really! That's what you come up with as to how they treated barackmehd unfairly?

You are right to not trust news sources, they lie to you daily as has been proven. It's one thing to have an investigation opened on you because there is evidence that you have committed a crime. It is a totally different thing to be investigated until they find a crime. I'm not sure what you know about the law and our rights under the constitution but the later is not allowed.

Hey man, yeah looking at you @Rolan

I don't care. All that chest puffing about "I served and my family served" actually makes it worse that you would vote for a damn socialist. You don't have to agree because the facts are on my side.

You have a good day now.

Bingo Shane. ...... the Left Wing Media starts the conversation with a bunch of lies, omissions and half truths, as well as out of context interpretations. When the “other side” stands up and says that is false, they get branded as being the bad guys. It’s all in Rules for Radicals
