1. So according to the stats you won the game. Then why didnt you go to the NC game. OH yeah the other team scored more points than you. Remember VBALL that the team with the most points wins.

And is that the same Michigan team that got beat by Ohio St. who got blown out by Florida.

    Wow thats so impressive.

I cant believe that the AP didnt vote you #1.

Same mediocre Michigan team you used to claim how great you were in 2003.

Go sell how tough Michigan is on the Ohio St. board cause we aint buying it.
  2. I found it to be a fair and sound analysis of the game. Even gave props to UCLA's offense and defense, ending with
Don't think it was meant to poke you. :) :geauxtige
  3. LSU = National Champs Baby!
    USC's goin' down..:hihi: ...in our own backyard..:hihi:
  4. Sorry just tired of hearing about USC on a LSU Board.

  5. I appreciate your cordiality and understand your feelings about USC. :thumb:

Last week was Bama week, I wonder what next week holds- maybe we visit the Sun Belt conference. :hihi:
  6. That is funny!! The clincher was the ND customer. :hihi:
  7. Most college football fans know that preseason rankings and $1 will buy you bus fare, in terms of it being an accurate predictor of how good a team is by season's end. But preseason rankings most certainly DO matter to the voters/BCS computers when it comes time for the NC game if there are multiple undefeateds. Just ask the 2004 Auburn team.
  8. Went to the store today and they did not have one. Does anyone know when they come out? I couldn't find it on their websites.
  9. I'm pretty sure, for that year- the last year SOS was used- It didn't matter to the computers and it was their SOS that kept them out. Do I think they deserved a shot?? Definitely, anytime a team goes undefeated in the SEC I think they deserve a shot but that year, "Our strong conference that we beat each other up in" wasn't as strong that year and didn't get them over the top in the SOS- as evidenced in the computer rankings:

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here. :thumb:
  10. You're wrong :hihi:

2003 was the last year SOS was a component of the BCS.

In 2004, the SOS was removed because it was a big reason why USuCk was left out of the CG in '03.
