I call bullsh*t on you saying that the Backyard is "no more". My friend called me and told me about a show he went to there over the weekend.
Maui Orlando Smoky Mts Colorado Springs Wash DC (just to visit) Love Vancouver as well but not in this country.
1. On a gin clear river rowing my 14 foot self bailer with a flyrod at my side great food in the cooler and a gorgous woman at the bow. You can find me on the McKenzie River outside of Eugene OR fishing with my wife this summer. :yelwink2: 2. NYC for the museums, art galleries and shows. 3. Louisiana for some good rural cookin'. Years ago I found a place out in the swamps called the "Oxbow" northeast of Opelousas. Great food great people. A guy in Opelousas told me to go down highway 190 east towards Baton Rouge to the "second lit" intersection, make a left, it's a couple miles you can't miss it". It was dark and I was in the middle of no where!! Local people treat you well everywhere if you treat them well. 4. Probably Wash DC for the history 5. Autzen Stadium on a Saturday afternoon with a good team trying to stay with my Ducks!! By the way I would like to visit Tiger Stadium sometime. My last New Orleans trip put me there on a Saturday when Florida was playing you guys. Talk about some gawd awful color combinations. Damn!!!! Blue and Orange? Only time I'm happy seeing those colors is when they come out of an M&M bag.
Cute....... Tad Gormley can't even compete with Hayward Field in Eugene. In 1992 Gormley drew 137,000 for the Olympic Trials. In 2008 Hayward drew 167,000 for the Olympic Trials. I'm really not interested in trash talking here. I'd rather talk football. I think LSU vs. Oregon is going to be a great game.
I'm aware that small stadiums like that can be alot of fun on a Friday night. Just comparing it to Autzen is rediculous.
