And why is that? Hope it's not something I said. Of course with LSU coming up on the schedule, I'd expect nothing else from LSU fans than to stop pulling for the Ducks. After the game, we'd certainly appreciate your support regardless of the out come.

Sounds like you're talking about Satterfield's in New Roads on lovely False River (which is an oxbow lake that used to be part of the Mississippi River). There are days the sac-au-lait just jump into the boat there.

I think you are right. I believe it was on the "False River". It's been quite a few years and in those the restaurant was called "The Oxbow", the name may have changed.

Great people, great food. After I'd finished the chef came by and asked me how I liked my diinner. I told him it was the first time I'd had crawfish and I really didn't have anything to compare it to. He asked if I could eat some more and if I could give him 15-20 minutes. I said sure. He went back in the kitchen and came out a bit later with a platter and four different entres. Brought each of us a beer and sat down across from me and explained each dish to me. It was a great evening. Great food great hospitality.

USC hasn't exactly enjoyed playing the Ducks for a long time now. Since the Ducks started being consistently decent about 15 years ago, U$C has been able to win half it's games with the Ducks. More recently, they haven't done so well.

Other than the Carroll years, in which it appears USC bent quite a few rules, they haven't done well at all against Oregon.
