1. He is a great offensive mind. Not to mention he was very good at Arkansas before going to Auburn. While Newton is an exceptional player, the play calling is still great and helps Newton. He calls to his players strengths.
  2. Malzahn had the top offense in the country for two or three years when he was at Tulsa.
  3. But some guys are great coordinators but not head coaches, we don't need to risk anything in my mind, proven head coach
  4. :geaux: My thoughts exactly!!:thumb: :LSU231:
  5. Ok, what would everyone think about these guys.

Mike Riley Head Coach Oregon State
    Steve Sarkisian Head Coach Washington
    Gary Pinkel Head Coach Mizzou
  6. Very good under the radar choices.

Sarkisian would be my top choice out of them and actually someone Id put on my list. He is a great offensive mind who is a good recruiter.
  7. I know Chris Petersen is a popular choice and no doubt he's a good coach. But it's one thing to get your team ready to play 1 or 2 ranked opponents a year; another animal when one has to do it on a weekly basis. I would like to see him in a tougher conference first, but he's not a bad choice. I think he would have to be drug out of Boise, though.
  8. here is what i said in another thread about gundy....

  9. Worked for UF with Meyer!
  10. And how long did that last.
