I think I'll go to Georges. They will add bacon if I ask. Or I cpuld go buy all the stuff. I'm out of everybody. I don't even have any bread that's not stale.
Went to the store. Made sandwiches. Used shredded cheddar, monterey jack, asiago and cueso blanco cheese and added some grated parmesan. A bit of fresh grated garlic and just a touch of Zatarain's powdered crawfish boil. Put a heaping mound of the cheese on slices of Pepperidge Farm Italian bread and lots of crisp applewood smoked bacon and pan grilled in butter. Ate them with tomato soup with half & half, parmesan cheese and basil. Washed down with a cold Abita root beer. Every day should be National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day.
