Not the issue. No doubt he has the money. I couldn't spend a grand on apps if I tried. In a month or two. You would have to try really hard to do that.
My daughter had a friend stay over a few weeks ago, and I woke up on Sunday and I got a call from the bank asking me if I authorized 400 dollars of iTunes purchases. I was like hell no I didn't, come to find out her friend was on one of my old devices I gave to my kid making a bunch of purchases inside The Sims 3 app. iTunes credited me and needless to say my dumb ass removed my info from the device like I should have when I gave it to my kid.
There are expensive apps. The highest I have ever noticed while browsing through the Play Store was about $50 for some kind of business app but there could be more expensive ones. I have spent a grand total of One Dollar total on apps. If it ain't free I don't download it. I did pay the dollar for the justin.tv app that lets you watch live tv programs that people stream to the site. I was in Baltimore and LSU was playing Idaho. No TV, no Tigervision and even my Tunein app wouldn't let me listen to the game via radio because LSU dosen't allow their broadcast to be streamed.
