    Damnit.

I wear different size shoes depending on the brand so I tried to trick it. Got me again.

I wear size 12 no matter what the brand but I never could wear Nike. Every pair I have tried on is too tight.

Actually, I think there is another reason as well. The ice melts faster when you pour the whisky over it directly as opposed to gently dropping cubes in. As I transitioned from scotch and water to just straight up I learned this. Now I just store it in the freezer or use the granite cubes my wife bought me.

Camel urine is a traditional Hindu medicine and is still sold by the bottle in parts of India.

Does physics change when you add ice to whiskey rather than add whiskey to ice?

The rate of melt is the same once they are together, but the pour facilitates melting as more warm liquid contacts the surface of the ice. You will notice pits forming in the ice (if using large cubes) a form of erosion so to speak. So I guess physics is alive and well and so is thermodynamics. I am not a professor of either however, but have poured a few drinks as a bartender.

I guess I won't be getting the new Nike Kobe 9 Elite Mamba Moment shoes to celebrate Kobe Bryant passing Michael Jordan on the all time scoring list. I'll have to find something else to spend that $245 on.
