1. Turtle boy, no shit? I grew up on a farm, helped raise steers for 30 years. All the big herds are steers, has nothing to do with Hollywood, bulls are not raised for meat only for breeding. There would be constant fighting in a herd of bulls. For best return on the money, steers are slaughtered by the age of three,.. in the old days, they used to let a few grow up, used them to pull wagons and such,.. adult steer is an ox.

    Steers go better for Hollywood/production with filming bc of being easier to handle. I've seen westerns where a family was moving their "Herd" but it was all steers. As you know, no fuckie fuckie, no herd.
